Ingredients
- 6 pieces of soft dhokla (store-bought or homemade)
- ¼ cup Zestora Red Gravy (Add water or milk)
- 1 tbsp oil
- ½ tsp mustard seeds
- 5-6 curry leaves
- ¼ tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh curd (beaten)
- 1 tbsp chopped onions
- 1 tbsp nylon sev
- Chopped coriander for garnish
- Salt to taste
- Optional: a pinch of chaat masala
Method – Step-by-Step
Step 1: Prepare Tempering
Heat oil in a small pan. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and sesame seeds. Let them crackle. Set aside.
Step 2: Heat the Red Gravy
In a separate pan, gently heat Zestora Red Gravy for 1–2 minutes with a splash of water. Turn off the flame.
Step 3: Assemble the Dhokla Chaat
On a serving plate, place dhokla pieces. Pour the warm red gravy over them.
Step 4: Add Flavours
Top with curd, chopped onions, and tempering. Sprinkle a little chaat masala and salt.
Step 5: Garnish
Finish with nylon sev and fresh coriander. Serve immediately.
