Ingredients
- 6–8 ready-made or homemade spring rolls (veg filled)
- ½ cup Zestora Red Gravy (Add water or milk)
- 1 tbsp oil
- ½ onion, thinly sliced
- ¼ capsicum, julienned
- ½ tsp soy sauce
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Spring onion greens for garnish
Method – Step-by-Step
Step 1: Shallow Fry the Spring Rolls
If using frozen spring rolls, shallow fry until golden and crispy. Set aside on kitchen paper.
Step 2: Prepare Gravy Base
In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil. Add sliced onion and capsicum. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until slightly soft but still crunchy.
Step 3: Add Sauces & Zestora Red Gravy
Add soy sauce, pepper, and a pinch of salt. Then pour in ½ cup Zestora Red Gravy and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Step 4: Toss the Spring Rolls
Add the fried spring rolls directly into the gravy. Gently toss until coated well.
Step 5: Garnish & Serve
Garnish with spring onion greens and serve immediately for the best texture.
Serving Suggestion
Serve hot as a snack, party starter, or light dinner. Can be paired with stir-fried rice or a chilled drink for a complete Indo-Chinese experience.
