Ingredients
- 1½ cup button mushrooms (sliced or halved)
- ½ cup Zestora Red Gravy (Add water or milk)
- 1 tbsp oil or butter
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- ¼ tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp coriander (chopped)
- Optional: 1 small tomato (finely chopped) for extra tang
Method – Step-by-Step
Step 1: Prepare the Base
Heat oil or butter in a pan. Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden.
Step 2: Add Mushrooms
Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for 4–5 minutes till they soften and release moisture.
Step 3: Pour Zestora Red Gravy
Add ½ cup of Zestora Red Gravy. Mix well and cook for 3–4 minutes. You may add a splash of water for thinner consistency.
Step 4: Season It
Add garam masala and salt to taste. Let it simmer for 2 more minutes.
Step 5: Garnish & Serve
Turn off the heat. Garnish with fresh coriander. Serve hot.
Serving Suggestion
Tastes great with phulka, roti, or steamed rice. Can also be used as a stuffing inside paratha rolls or as a side with pulao.
